Have you had a Honeycrisp apple yet this Fall? Wow! This years crop of apples are Delicious with a capital D — perfectly crisp and juicy and sweet and tart all at once. I quite literally have been eating an apple a day for over two weeks with no intention of stopping anytime soon. I just can’t get enough. They’re super all buy themselves but slathered with a little almond butter and the humble apple becomes a meal. Yummmmmm!
Did you know . . . the Honeycrisp apple was developed in Minnesota in the early 60’s and nearly never made it to grocery stores but finally did in 1991. A hybrid, the lineage of this now popular apple is up for debate. But who cares? Just eat ’em. They’re D-licious!
